Realm Reveals New Podcast Series: Refreshing Chats with Commercial Lawyers

Posted on 24/2/2021 by Katherine Memery

Following the success of Refreshing Chats with Family Lawyers last year, we’re back with another series of our podcast, but this time, we’re delving into Commercial Law, with Refreshing Chats with Commercial Lawyers.

This time around, our corporate and commercial recruitment specialist Rebecca Blundell will be taking the mic alongside our director Duane Cormell to catch up with some of the North West’s most successful commercial solicitors. In each episode, they’ll be joined by a different guest, to speak about their routes into the legal profession, their experience of working during the pandemic and how they like to spend their time away from work.

The first episode is released on Wednesday 24th February and will feature Steve Kuncewicz, Partner and Head of Creative, Digital and Marketing at BLM. New episodes will be released each Wednesday, with guests such as Simon Gerrard, Partner and Head of Insolvency at Prosperity Law, Scott Birchall, Director at Smooth Commercial Law and Louise Hebborn, Partner and Head of Commercial Litigation at Stephensons.

Associate consultant and qualified solicitor Rebecca, explains more:

"As someone who has worked at commercial firms in the past, I already had some insight into how commercial teams work. However, in doing the podcast it’s been great to speak with some of the region’s most successful solicitors about not only how and why they do what they do, but also what makes them tick away from the office. I really think that Refreshing Chats will be an interesting listen for both budding commercial lawyers and those already in practice.”

You can listen to the first episode of Refreshing Chats with Commercial Lawyers by downloading it from Apple Podcasts, Spotify or wherever you usually get your podcasts.
