We're passionate about helping those just starting out in the legal sector to gain a foothold in this competitive market and forge successful careers. We do this via our Legal Job Coach service, which is aimed at students, graduates, trainees and junior fee earners up to two years' PQE.
What is Legal Job Coach?
Legal Job Coach was founded in 2020 by our Managing Director, Duane, with the aim of increasing diversity within the sector and filling the gaps left by traditional careers services.
After completing his law degree, Duane found his working-class background and lack of financial means a significant obstacle to fulfilling his then-dream of becoming a barrister, despite winning numerous academic awards.
Duane wants to help others forge successful careers in law by providing access to information on alternative routes into the profession, training on soft skills not taught at university, and practical advice on how to navigate the job market.
