A well-respected specialist litigation firm is looking for a Contentious Probate Solicitor to join their team in Macclesfield. In this role, you will be on the firm’s first contentious specialists and handle your own caseload of matters.  

You will join the firm in a really exciting period of development and have the opportunity to help shape the contentious probate team. What’s more, the firm offer all of their lawyers the option of homeworking, so this is the perfect role if you don’t fancy commuting every day to the office. 

Contentious Probate Solicitor - Cheshire

  • An innovative and growing civil litigation practice with offices in Cheshire and Manchester 

  • As part of the firm’s recently established contentious probate department you will be responsible for a varied caseload  

  • You will also have the chance to help grow the team and shape the department 

  • Commutable from: Manchester, Stockport, Altrincham, Wilmslow, Macclesfield

The ideal candidate 

  • An ambitious Contentious Probate Solicitor with 2+ years’ PQE 

  • Will have good commercial acumen and technical ability 

  • Will have a personable manner and be able to demonstrate a real commitment to and empathy with their clients 

  • A solicitor who is used to managing their own caseload and has an exceptional eye for detail
