In this Court of Protection Solicitor role, you’ll join a Legal 500 and Chambers recognised national law firm at their offices in Manchester city centre.
In this role, you will work on a range of court of protection matters running your own deputyships.
This is an exciting opportunity for someone to have the best of both worlds - running their own highly varied, interesting deputyships and heading up a small sub-team within the department, usually consisting of 3-4 support staff, made up of junior solicitors and paralegals to support this caseload and for the candidate to supervise and line manage.

The caseload will include clients with learning difficulties, mental health issues, the elderly and those with substance abuse problems, or from the OPG Panel, Charities and Local Authority. These cases typically involve higher asset levels making it complex and varied work.

The role will be largely office based with possibly one day a week from home, might consider two days for right person.
