Family Senior Associate/Family Partner
Hot Job
- Play a key role in a Legal 500-recognised family team within a top Northern firm
- Opportunity to build your own caseload, with strong internal work sources to tap into
- Join a £45m turnover firm that’s growing, investing, and committed to long-term success
This is a unique opportunity for a Senior Associate or Partner-level Family Solicitor to join a high-performing, sociable, and collaborative team. This role is perfect for someone looking to bring in their own work, leverage a strong internal referral network, and be part of a firm that’s investing in its people and its future.
With a broad caseload covering divorce, financial remedy, private children, pre- and post-nuptial agreements, and TOLATA matters, you’ll have the autonomy to build and shape your practice. There’s no individual billing target – success is measured at a team level, creating a supportive, non-competitive environment.
What’s In It For You?
- Freedom to build your own caseload with the support of an established, well-connected team.
- No individual targets – team-wide performance is what counts.
- Hybrid working – two days in the office (including BD/court), three from home.
- Strong internal market – plenty of work referrals from within the firm.
- Long-term stability – this is a Northern firm that isn’t looking to sell to private equity.
- A firm that rewards success – generous incentives, away days, and a strong social scene.
Who We’re Looking For
- Senior Associate or Partner-level Family Solicitor with a strong reputation and network in the market.
- Experience in managing a privately funded caseload, including financial remedy and private children matters.
- A strong business development focus, with the ability to generate work and build relationships.
- A sociable, collaborative personality – this is a team that works together, supports each other, and enjoys what they do.
Salary & Benefits
- Highly competitive salary, depending on experience.
- Clear pathway to progression, including fast-track to Partner if joining at Senior Associate level.
- A firm with a people-first approach – regular social events, charity initiatives, and volunteering opportunities.
- A financially stable and growing business, with major investment in its offices and teams.
