In-house Paralegal
- Top-of-market salary
- Rare opportunity to leave private practice and move in-house
- Progression opportunity – business is looking at succession plan for Lead Advisor
One of the largest and most respected companies in Lancashire is seeking an experienced paralegal to join its in-house legal advisory team and forge a commercially successful career.
Working in-house will enable you to vastly develop your commercial awareness and problem-solving skills, becoming a hugely well-rounded legal advisor and improving your career trajectory and options.
The Lead Counsel is planning her retirement in the medium-term and therefore there will be opportunities to rise through the ranks, taking a lead commercial role in the future.
In addition to a market-leading salary, you’ll enjoy an enhanced holiday allowance, free parking, loyalty bonuses each year, supermarket discounts and Christmas hampers.
The Lead Counsel has a passion and proven track record in developing her team and is therefore open-minded as to what kind of background you will have – other advisors in the team have joined from areas such as insurance fraud and property.
The business has a long history in the region and has a large property estate, which you will support in managing. You’ll enjoy a highly varied role, so this is the perfect opportunity for someone who may be bored working within one practice area and managing the same kind of work each day.
A substantial amount of your role will be related to property matters, but don’t worry if you’ve never worked in this area of law before – what’s important to the team is that you have experience of dealing with legal matters and you can manage processes efficiently and expertly.
You are likely to have at least five years’ experience as a paralegal or as a legal assistant with some fee-earning responsibilities, and a keenness to develop a successful career in law without the need to qualify as a solicitor.
