Legal Billing and Accounts Specialist – Hybrid working

Our client, a multi-site and full-service law firm, is looking for a Billing and Accounts Specialist to join its friendly team at its office in Bradford, West Yorkshire.

You will be preparing bills of costs and maintaining accurate time costing procedures, to deadline, on legal aid matters. You will need experience of handling your own costs caseload from start to finish and up-to-date knowledge of LAA Costs Assessment Guidance and legislation.

You will have worked in a firm providing litigated services (e.g. litigation, family, employment, personal injury, etc.) and have at least one year of experience of dealing with billing processes – either as a legal costs draftsman within a specialised department in a larger firm or working in a similar role within an accounts team at a small-to-mid-sized firm.

The firm are very flexible in their approach and understand that not everyone wants to work a standard nine-to-five day. As a result, they are open to considering flexible working arrangements and are also happy for their team to work from home on a hybrid arrangement.
