Freeths’ highly regarded family wealth department are looking for a matrimonial solicitor to join their busy team in Leeds city centre.  

Splitting your time between working at home and in the office, you will handle a broad range of matrimonial matters, including divorce, financial remedy, and the drafting of cohabitation, nuptial and separation agreements.

The ideal candidate 

  • Matrimonial Solicitor with 2-6 years’ PQE 

  • An adaptable, down-to-earth individual who provides an excellent level of client service 

  • Will have good technical knowledge and experience of matrimonial work including divorce, financial remedy, private children matters and drafting nuptial, cohabitation and separation agreements 

  • Will have a strong ancillary relief background and experience of Cohabitation/TOLATA disputes 

  • Will have strong commercial awareness and proven fee-earning and business development skills  

  • A Resolution member who is accredited in high-net-worth finances or who is prepared to work towards becoming accredited
