Property Litigation Associate or Senior Associate
- 5+ PQE
- Fast-track progression to take a supported step up and eventually lead a Property Litigation team
- Hybrid working
- Legal 500 team and national client base
- Huge scope for team growth due to commercial property client base
We have a standout opportunity for a property litigation solicitor with 5+ PQE to join a Legal 500 in Manchester and take a supported step up into a partnership/leadership role, managing a small team of solicitors.
You’ll supervise a small time of three fee earners (one solicitor and two paralegals) alongside a real estate partner, before taking ownership of the department yourself.
You’ll earn a highly competitive salary and benefit from a generous hybrid working policy and bonus scheme.
There is significant scope to grow the team and make it your own, as there is a ready and growing caseload of referred matters from the firm’s sizeable commercial property team. This is why this role represents an unrivalled opportunity to join at a senior level with no need for a following.
You’ll manage a mixed caseload of property litigation matters, including matters relating to commercial property and mixed-use schemes, landlord and tenant disputes, service charge disputes, dilapidations claims, Landlord & Tenant Act 1954, insolvencies, breach of contract, professional negligence, possession claims, trespass, party wall disputes, overage and coverage disputes, and repossessions. You’ll act for a national client base made up primarily of property developers.
The firm is a market leader in property matters and has won multiple awards for its work in this sector, as well as several employer awards in recent years. It prides itself on its culture and the work/life balance offered to its team members, who enjoy positive working and social relationships with their colleagues across the firm.
Many lawyers join this firm from national and international law firms, seeking exciting, complex work with a much-improved work/life balance.
