Property Litigation Solicitor 1-3 PQE – Three days from home – Leading employer – Legal 500
This is a fantastic opportunity for a litigation solicitor with 1-3 years’ PQE and experience of property disputes to join one of the country’s most successful and respected law firms as a Property Litigation Solicitor in its Leeds office.
You’ll be managing your own caseload of mixed defendant property litigation work, covering commercial and residential matters including estate management possession, business lease renewals, injunctions, possessions, rent recovery and housing disrepair.
This top 50 national firm has its sights firmly set on growth and reaching the top 30. Along with these ambitions, it remains determined to retain the down-to-earth culture it has managed to continue to cultivate over its rich 200-year history.
While it can be hard to differentiate between the firms at the top, this heavyweight provides its team with an unbeatable combination of upper market pay, lots of progression opportunities and an impressive level of flexibility, while keeping a relaxed and friendly environment.
You will get plenty of opportunity to move up the ladder – which, by the way, is well-structured, with proper rungs on the ladder and a clear graduation in job titles. You’ll also get a pay review at least every 12 months.
The firm offers up to three days per week from home, and your days in the office will help you progress your career even quicker, as you’ll be learning directly from some of the most successful and prominent lawyers in the field – the talent at this firm absolutely swamps the Legal 500 and Chambers rankings, paving the way for you to do the same.
Equality and diversity are super important to this firm – and this isn’t something they just say to tick a box, they actually live and breathe it. They recognise that not everyone will take a traditional route into law and provide lots of help and support for those doing CILEX or taking a non-qualified fee earner role to get qualified and move up the ladder. Nobody is treated differently in this respect.
They have been awarded Top Employers Institute certification for the fifteenth year, with independent judges reporting that they provide “exceptional employee conditions” while “nurtur[ing] and develop[ing] talent throughout all levels of the organisation.”
Their awards cabinet must be truly bursting at the seams, as they are regular winners at regional and national events. Notable trophies they are won recently include those for ‘Best People Initiative’ and as an “Innovation Trailblazer” and “Litigation Team of the Year” in 2022.
The right candidate will have some experience of property litigation matters, having undertaken a seat in a litigation department handling property-related files.
