This is an excellent opportunity to join a busy and expanding children law team where demand significantly outweighs capacity. The role is open to experienced Paralegals who want structured development and a clear pathway towards qualification.

The team deals with a mix of private and public children matters, with a strong legal aid practice and nationwide casework. Advocacy is encouraged where appropriate, and administrative burden is kept deliberately low so fee earners can focus on the work that matters.

Who we’re looking for

  • Some experience in family or children law preferred
  • Strong interest in children law and legal aid work
  • Organised, reliable and keen to develop
  • Interested in qualification in the future (Desired)
  • Compassionate, emotionally intelligent and resilient
  • Comfortable dealing with sensitive matters including domestic abuse
  • Progressive, modern and client-focused

What you’ll be doing

  • Supporting solicitors with case preparation and legal aid work
  • Assisting with court preparation and file management
  • Developing technical knowledge of children law procedures
  • Becoming a trusted, integral member of the team
