This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced Commercial Property Paralegal to join a well-established and expanding team in Bury.
You’ll work closely with highly experienced solicitors on a wide range of commercial property matters, gaining exposure to quality work while playing an integral role in supporting the team’s continued growth. The department is extremely busy and looking for someone who wants to get stuck in and develop their expertise within commercial property.
The role offers strong long-term development, whether you want to build a career as a specialist paralegal or gain further experience before qualifying.
Who we’re looking for
- Commercial Property Paralegal with relevant drafting experience
- Background in a property-focused legal environment
- Strong drafting, communication and organisational skills
- High attention to detail and ability to manage multiple tasks
- Comfortable liaising with clients and third parties
- Positive, collaborative and proactive personality
- Interest in building relationships within the local property community (Desired)
What you’ll be doing
- Drafting legal documents, contracts and correspondence
- Supporting solicitors across commercial property transactions
- Managing and maintaining electronic case files and documents
- Liaising with clients, agents and other third parties
- Preparing documentation and materials for meetings
- Assisting with billing, scheduling and administrative processes
- Providing general support across the commercial property team
In your first 6 months, you’ll focus on becoming confident with the firm’s systems and processes while providing reliable support to fee earners. By 12 months, you’ll be handling a consistent workload with minimal supervision and developing stronger technical knowledge across commercial property work. Longer term, there is scope to progress into a highly capable senior paralegal role within the team.
