This is an exciting opportunity for a lawyer or legal executive with at least two years’ experience specialising in contentious probate to join a well-regarded, award-winning firm based in West Yorkshire.

The role comes with lots of room for progression up to Senior Associate and Partner in the future.

The firm is incredibly family-friendly and offers the option of compressed hours and flexitime, plus you will also be able to work three days per week from home.

You will join an experienced, highly engaged team of seven private client solicitors, plus an additional two solicitors specialising in contentious probate, ranging from NQ all the way up to senior team members.

The department has a growing caseload of good quality work available, and a wide and active referral network. You will handle a variety of interesting and high-quality files, including validity claims, removal of trustees and estate disputes, pre-death breaches, and more. Targets are set at a very comfortable four chargeable hours per day to ensure a manageable workload and exceptional work quality.

The firm is well-regarded within the region and has a strong focus on employee wellbeing. Team members get plenty of time to recharge, with 25 days holiday, plus Christmas closure and your birthday off. You’ll also have access to free parking and support with learning and development for additional qualifications, such as STEP.
