This is a fantastic opportunity for a qualified Solicitor (or equivalent) with strong claimant Personal Injury experience to step into a leadership role, managing a high-performing Fast Track Portal & Litigation team in Manchester.
You’ll be hands-on with your own EL/PL/RTA caseload while guiding a team of fee earners, paralegals, and support staff.
Who we’re looking for
- Qualified Solicitor (or equivalent) with strong claimant fast-track PI experience
- Proven team leadership and mentoring ability
- Proclaim proficiency and process-driven mindset
- Excellent drafting, negotiation and advocacy skills
- Calm, credible communicator who can coach and inspire high standards
What you’ll be doing
- Lead the operational running of the EL/PL/RTA Fast Track team
- Maintain a partial caseload of fast-track matters (issuing where appropriate)
- Run case reviews, audit files, and roll out training to raise quality
- Oversee capacity planning, work allocation, and performance management
- Recruit, induct, and coach new starters with HR support
- Lead team meetings and cascade updates/improvements
- Represent the firm at client meetings, community events, and with marketing
Salary & Benefits
- Salary: £50,000–£58,000 DOE
- Holidays: 31 days incl. bank holidays + birthday off + option to buy +5
- Flexi-time: work between 8am–6pm, core hours 10am–4pm
