Who we’re looking for
- A Child Care solicitor with at least 2 years’ experience running their own files. There may be some Private Children work alongside this, and an ability or willingness to assist would be of benefit.
- Comfortable and confident with doing their own advocacy
- Child Panel membership (desirable but not essential)
- A natural team player who enjoys mentoring juniors and getting stuck into firm-wide initiatives
What you’ll be doing
- Taking over a full caseload of predominantly care matters
- Support from a paralegal, a trainee solicitor and pool of inhouse typists
- Contributing to internal projects, from shaping the firm’s culture to input on marketing and LinkedIn activity
- Collaborating closely with support staff, trainees, and other solicitors
- Playing an active role in the continued development of a respected, growing department and firm
