This is a standout opportunity for a newly qualified Clinical Negligence Solicitor to join a growing claimant clinical negligence team in Manchester.
You’ll run your own manageable caseload while also working closely with a Partner on complex, high-value matters, including catastrophic injury and fatal claims. The work is genuinely meaningful, covering brain and birth injuries, delayed and missed diagnoses, surgical errors, and cases involving both NHS and private healthcare providers.
This role suits someone early in their clinical negligence career who wants strong supervision, hands-on learning, and the chance to build deep technical expertise in a team that values empathy, client care, and long-term development.
Who we’re looking for
- Newly qualified
- Claimant clinical negligence experience
- Strong client care and communication skills
- Able to work autonomously with appropriate supervision
- Empathetic, authentic, and genuinely client-focused
- Exposure to misdiagnosis, surgical claims, birth or brain injury, or fatality work (Desired)
- Experience managing a caseload, even if small (Desired)
- Background in NHS and/or private healthcare claims (Desired)
- Interest in business development and profile-building (Desired)
What you’ll be doing
- Managing a small claimant clinical negligence caseload, tailored to your experience
- Assisting a Partner on high-value and complex claims, including matters exceeding £1m
- Working on cases involving brain injuries, birth injuries, misdiagnosis (including cancer), surgical errors, and incorrect treatment
- Supporting claims involving minors and fatality cases
- Delivering high-quality, empathetic client care throughout the litigation process
- Contributing to business development and the team’s growing reputation
- Attending client meetings where required
