Private Client Partner

This is a standout opportunity for an established Private Client Partner to take a leadership role within a nationally recognised, top-tier Private Client team during a period of significant growth in Birmingham and the wider West Midlands.
You’ll step into a senior role with real influence, shaping the regional strategy, growing the local practice, and working alongside a national Private Client team advising some of the most sophisticated private wealth clients in the UK.
Who we’re looking for
- Partner-level Private Client solicitor with substantial experience
- Strong background advising HNW and UHNW clients on complex private wealth matters
- Experience handling estate planning, trusts, succession planning and probate at a senior level
- Ability to lead, mentor and develop junior lawyers (Desired)
- Commercially minded with strong business development instincts (Desired)
- STEP qualification or equivalent (Desired)
- Existing following or strong referral network (Desired)
- Collaborative, people-focused leader with an entrepreneurial mindset
What you’ll be doing
- Providing strategic leadership for the Private Client practice
- Advising high-value clients on wills, trusts, estate and succession planning, probate and LPAs
- Acting on complex UK and international private wealth matters
- Managing and developing long-term relationships with HNW individuals, families and landed estates
- Leading business development and raising the regional profile of the practice
- Mentoring and supporting junior lawyers within the team
- Collaborating closely with colleagues across corporate, property, family and other departments
- Contributing to wider national Private Client strategy and growth initiatives
