This is a standout opportunity for a Private Client Senior Associate Solicitor to join a long-established, values-led law firm that is in the process of nationally expanding its Private Client offering.
While the firm has a long history and a strong reputation elsewhere in the UK, the Manchester office is still in its early stages, giving this role a genuine opportunity to help shape the future of the Private Client team locally, without losing the supportive, non-corporate culture the firm is known for.
The role offers high-quality, intellectually interesting work, exposure to complex cross-border matters, and excellent training and development from experienced specialists.
Who we’re looking for
- Qualified Solicitor with experience in Trusts & Estates
- Able to run your own Private Client caseload
- Strong communication skills and excellent attention to detail
- Well-organised and technically confident
- Collaborative, purpose-driven and client-focused
- Experience of international or cross-border estates and trusts (Desired)
- STEP qualified or working towards STEP (Desired)
- Interest in business development and cross-selling (Desired)
What you’ll be doing
- Managing your own caseload of Trusts & Estates matters, including cross-border work
- Advising UK and international clients on succession, tax and estate planning
- Working closely with colleagues across offices and practice areas
- Delivering a high standard of client care with a pragmatic, solutions-focused approach
- Participating in team meetings, knowledge sharing and marketing initiatives
- Recording time accurately and working towards agreed billing targets
- Playing a role in the continued growth of the Manchester Private Client presence
