Private Client Senior Associate Solicitor

A highly respected South Manchester law firm is looking for a Senior Associate Solicitor to join its nationally recognised Private Client team. This is a rare opportunity to step into a senior role within a close-knit, collegiate department and take ownership of high-value, complex matters while playing a key role in supporting more junior colleagues.

With recent team changes and an ever-increasing pipeline of HNW work, the partners are keen to bring in someone experienced who can ease the pressure on the leadership team and hit the ground running. You’ll join a team of seven, including partners, associates, a solicitor apprentice and junior solicitors – all known for their friendly and collaborative working style.

This is the ideal opportunity for a seasoned private client solicitor looking for a senior associate title (or already at that level) who is motivated by high-quality work, autonomy, and being part of a genuinely supportive team.

Who we’re looking for

• Private client solicitor with 6+ PQE, ideally already operating at senior associate level
• Strong experience with a broad range of matters, including wills, probate, trusts and HNW estates
• Able to manage your own caseload of complex matters with minimal supervision
• Confident supporting and supervising more junior team members

Salary & benefits

• £60,000–£70,000 depending on experience
• Part-time (3 or 4 days) or full-time considered
• Hybrid working – typically 2 days WFH, potentially 3 for the right person
