This is a fantastic opportunity for a Private Client Senior Associate Solicitor to join a Legal 500 and Chambers-recognised team in Manchester.
You’ll be stepping into a replacement role with high-calibre work readily available and the chance to shape the team’s growth alongside the Head of Department.

Who we’re looking for
- Private Client Solicitor with 6–8 PQE
- STEP qualified or working towards it
- Significant experience with HNW and complex probate/estate cases
- Exposure to Court of Protection and capacity-related work
- Strong technical expertise and excellent client care
- Ability to supervise and mentor junior lawyers
- Organised, proactive, and enthusiastic about BD and team development
What you’ll be doing
- Manage your own caseload of wills, trusts, POAs, probate and some Court of Protection matters
- Lead on complex and high-value estates, intestacy, and tax planning
- Support the Head of Department in supervising trainees, apprentices and juniors
- Provide tailored advice to HNW individuals and business owners
- Contribute to marketing and BD initiatives to grow the practice
Salary & Benefits
- Salary: Competitive, depending on experience
- Bonus: Fee earner bonus scheme – up to 12%
- Hybrid working: 1 day WFH (after probation), 4 days in office for first 6 months
- Hours: Flexibility on start/finish; condensed hours or 4-day week considered
- Holidays: 25 days plus bank holidays
