Who we’re looking for
- 8+ PQE as a Solicitor or Legal Executive
- Experience managing your own caseload of wills, probate, LPAs, and trusts
- Strong track record in business development
- Leadership skills with experience supervising or mentoring junior lawyers
- Technically confident
- Down-to-earth, approachable, and commercially minded
- Previous exposure to Court of Protection work (desirable, not essential)
What you’ll be doing
- Initially focusing on building a personal caseload through BD and internal cross-referrals
- Advising on probate (approx. 60%) and wills/LPAs (approx. 40%)
- Collaborating with others in the team and building out the department
- Driving revenue growth and ultimately progressing into Head of Department or Partner
- Making use of firm-wide BD training and support to grow the client base
Salary & Benefits
- Highly competitive salary
- Bonus: Approx. 10% of billings over target
- Holiday: 25 days + bank holidays
- Birthday day off
- Hybrid working: 2 days WFH per week once settled (office-based for first month)
- Compressed hours or 4-day week considered
- Enhanced maternity/paternity (up to 12 weeks full pay)
- In-house billing team and typist support
