A fantastic opportunity has arisen to join a highly regarded Private Client team, working with a friendly and supportive group of lawyers who handle an impressive range of high-calibre work.
With a strong reputation across the North West, the team is known for building long-standing client relationships, supporting families, landowners, estates, business owners, and trustees over generations. This is an opportunity to join a stable, collegiate team where personality fit and collaboration are just as important as technical expertise.
Due to ongoing growth, there are likely to be two vacancies available, so whether you’re newly qualifeid looking for a training-focused environment, or an experienced solicitor wanting more flexibility and progression, this could be a perfect move.
Who we’re looking for
- NQ–1 PQE Solicitor or Legal Executive with good academics and private client experience
- Or 1–4 PQE Solicitor/Legal Executive with a broad private client background
- Experienced solicitors from 5+ PQE (including at salaried partner level) also considered
- Experience across wills, probate, and trusts
- Collaborative, approachable, and team-oriented personality
- STEP qualification or willingness to work towards it
What you’ll be doing
- Managing a varied caseload of wills, LPAs, probate, trusts, estate planning, and Court of Protection applications
- Working closely with STEP-qualified partners and senior solicitors
- Supporting clients including farmers, landowners, estates, trustees, and HNW individuals
- Collaborating with colleagues across Lancaster and Kirkby Lonsdale
- Contributing to the continued growth and excellent reputation of the department
