Senior Private Client Solicitor 6+ PQE – Progression opportunity – Legal 500 Tier 1
Our client is looking for a Private Client Solicitor with at least six years’ experience to join its standout Legal 500 Tier 1 team as a senior solicitor and grow a team around them.
This is a fantastic opportunity to take a supported step up and progress your career, as you’ll be the first private client solicitor on the ground in the Liverpool office yet form part of a wider existing department based in Manchester.
The private client team at this national, full-service firm is recognised nationally, with a HNW and UHNW client base of families, business owners, entrepreneurs, celebrities and sports professionals.
In terms of work generation, the pressure is off, as you’ll enjoy a healthy throughput of cases from the Manchester private client team and a successful family team based in the Liverpool office. A market presence, small following or referral relationships is desirable, but not essential.
The right candidate will be comfortable advising on HNW/UHNW estate planning and be able to run a caseload from start to finish with minimal supervision. You’ll have working knowledge of Wills, probate and estate administration and trusts, and be able to supervise junior lawyers.
The firm has an established and skilled marketing team, which will help you build out your own profile as a key figure in the Liverpool private client market, including with directory and awards submissions, and media appearances.
You’ll be able to progress quickly, as the firm also runs a clear and transparent annual promotion scheme, which is open to all – so no more waiting patiently for your manager to recognise and reward your contributions.
This full-service, Top 100 firm has offices nationally. It is accredited by Investors in People and has been named as one of The Sunday Times’ Best Companies to Work For – and it’s easy to see why.
Team members get a minimum of 25 days’ annual leave, plus office closure between Christmas and New Year and an additional two days per year to do charitable work.
The firm has an active social calendar, including regular team and firmwide events, and sports clubs, so you’ll get to know your new colleagues and feel part of the team quickly.
