Serious Injury Team Leader
- Lead a team on high-value catastrophic injury cases, not just manage, but stay hands-on
- Step up into leadership without losing complex, meaningful casework
- Hybrid working, bonus scheme and a clear route to senior leadership roles
This is one of those roles that sits right in the middle, not purely management, not purely fee earning.
You’ll lead a small team of junior lawyers while continuing to handle serious and catastrophic injury cases yourself. The work is high-value, often complex, and genuinely impactful, the kind of cases where your input matters from day one through to resolution.
Early on, the focus is on getting embedded with the team and understanding how they operate. You’ll quickly become the go-to for technical queries, case strategy and day-to-day guidance, while still progressing your own multi-track caseload.
As you settle in, the role shifts more towards leadership. You’ll shape how the team works, support development, and play a part in driving performance, without stepping too far away from the legal work itself. It’s a good fit if you enjoy mentoring but don’t want to lose that hands-on edge.
The wider environment is supportive and collaborative, with a strong emphasis on doing the job properly, both for clients and for the people in the team.
