We’re looking for a Trusts Manager to join a highly regarded private client team in Warwickshire.
This is a rare opportunity to specialise at the top end of the trusts and tax market, dealing with high-net-worth and ultra-high-net-worth clients.
Whether you’re already experienced in this space or looking to step up, you’ll be joining a technically excellent and supportive team where quality is prioritised over quantity.
Who we’re looking for
- Basic understanding of trusts, accounts and tax returns
- Knowledge of Capital Gains and IHT
- Strong technical expertise and attention to detail
- Organised, methodical, and accurate
- Ability to take ownership of work, or willingness to be trained and upskilled if junior
What you’ll be doing
- Managing annual trust accounts and tax compliance using CCH tax software
- Acting as a point of contact for trustees, beneficiaries and intermediaries
- Preparing for and attending trustee meetings, liaising with investment managers and other professionals
- Handling payments to beneficiaries and related trust administration
- Managing registrations under the Trust Registration Service and related requirements
- Supporting on preparation of estate accounts and tax returns (desirable)
- Assisting with IHT returns for 10-year charges and exit charges (desirable)
Salary & Benefits
- Salary: Competitive, depending on experience
- Hours: Full time, with some flexibility
- Location: Warwickshire – 2–3 days in the office, depending on experience
- Holiday: 25 days + bank holidays, rising with service
