How would you describe yourself in 3 words?
Chatty, supportive and practical.
What’s been your proudest moment at Realm so far?
That’s a tough one, there are many moments I could choose from. The care and consideration for the job that the girls in my team put in always makes me proud – I may be biased but I don’t think you could find a more supportive support team.
Another proud moment is reading comments from our engagement survey each year. Realm has progressed a great deal over the years, not just in terms of our business success but our culture and offering to employees. Seeing how happy team members are in their roles makes me extremely proud of Realm.
Finally, I’m really proud of the fact that Realm beats the norm in terms of the percentage of females in senior leadership positions.
Tell us about something you do day-to-day that helps match the right lawyers with the right law firms.
A lot of my role involves supporting the recruiters to make sure that they are happy and, in turn, productive in their roles. This enables them to give the lawyers and law firms they work with the best service possible.
At Realm, we pride ourselves on being an ethical and values-driven business, which can sometimes mean that a little extra time needs to be put into our processes. I assist with putting these processes in place and making sure the business is always following them. This is a worthwhile venture when it means lawyers and law firms alike know that we are a business that they can trust.
How do you unwind after a busy day at work?
Recently I’ve been doing a lot more cooking, though I’m not sure if I find this relaxing, I just love the end result. At the moment, I tend to watch a crime drama or go to the gym but I’m hoping as we approach the longer sunnier days, I may have something a little more exciting to say.
