Realm Recruit Up for 3 Gongs at the Manchester Young Talent Awards

Posted on 15/10/2018 by Katherine Memery

We’re thrilled to announce that Realm has been shortlisted for three awards at this year’s Manchester Young Talent Awards (MYTAS).

Our Senior Consultant and Private Client specialist Kelly Reid is up for the award for Talent and Recruiter of the Year, while our Administration Manager Rebecca Hopwood has been nominated in the category for PA, EA or Business Support of the Year. Lastly, our entire team have been shortlisted for the Team of the Year.

The MYTAs are held each year by JCI Manchester to recognise the hard work of the very best of Manchester’s young business talent across a range of sectors, including property, law, finance and marketing. On 15th November, the nominees will be celebrated and the awards presented at a glamorous ceremony at the Museum of Science and Industry.

Kelly joined Realm just shy of two years ago and has worked in legal recruitment for more than a decade. Since specialising in Private Client recruitment at the end of last year, as a result of her professional yet personable approach, she has emerged as one of the leading recruiters of Private Client lawyers in the North of England.

Over the last two years, Rebecca has become an essential member of the Realm team. She has helped to improve the efficiency of the business in a number of ways, which has undoubtedly contributed to our combined success.

Our final nomination for the award of Team of the Year is extra special. At Realm, our team have continually worked together to effectively service the needs of Manchester’s lawyers and law firms. Our refreshing and consultative approach has enabled the team to reinforce Realm’s position as a key player within the city’s legal recruitment sector.

Our director, Duane Cormell commented on the exciting news:

“I’m absolutely delighted that we’ve been shortlisted in 3 categories. Both Kelly and Becci have had tremendous years and played a huge part in Realm’s growth – they should both be very proud indeed.

For us to be up for team of the year is just fantastic though; not only have we got a great team dynamic here at Realm but, everyone has pulled together this year and worked incredibly hard in trying to make our brand of legal recruitment successful. This shortlisting is testament to all of the hard work that every member of the team has put in”

The full shortlist can be found on the MYTA website.
