Realm Race to Raise: Day 1

Posted on 10/6/2016 by Katherine Memery

Day 1 – Friday 10th June

Today is the day. The klaxon has been sounded in Realm’s Race to Raise for Forever Manchester Week.

The Realm team have from now until 5:30 pm next Wednesday afternoon to raise as much money as they possibly can. If the team cumulatively raise £100 or more then they will be rewarded with the afternoon off from work next Thursday, in order to watch England Vs. Wales. The first team member to individually raise their £25 individual target will also be permitted to take Friday off work too. Should any of the team really excel and manage to raise £100 independently, they too will be rewarded with the day off from work on Friday.

Each member of the team must now come up with a novel idea for how they can go about raising the funds necessary to earn the right to watch the much anticipated Euro 2016 game. Thus far we’ve had a lot of cookery and dress-up based ideas.

We’ll be issuing daily updates on our progress.
