Last Thursday, Consultant Joe Shenton took home the award for Young Recruitment Professional of the Year at the Insider Young Professionals Awards.
The Awards are held each year by Insider Media to celebrate the very best young talent, the North West has to offer. Over 10 categories, the event recognises the hard work and potential of promising individuals from a range of sectors, including legal services, banking, property, and, of course, HR and recruitment.
Fighting off stiff competition from Daniel Simmonite from Tindall Perry Partnership, Toni Phoenix from Digital Gurus and Emma Soden from Freshfields, Joe was selected as the winner, walking away with the first professional award of his career.
Since joining Realm Recruit straight after graduating in 2016, he has gone from strength to strength, cultivated strong relationships with his valued clients and established himself as one of the company’s most promising talents.
After the ceremony, the judges explained the reasoning for Joseph’s win and said how he is “smashing his targets within a very niche and specialised market”.
Unfortunately, Joe was unable to attend the prestigious awards ceremony in person, however, our director Duane Cormell collected the award on his behalf. At the end of the night, Duane spoke about Joseph’s fantastic achievement:
