You’ll join a thriving Commercial Property team that is entering an exciting period of growth, working closely with the Head of Department as the team expands. This isn’t a role where you’ll simply inherit a caseload and be left to get on with it. Instead, you’ll be given the opportunity to develop into a key figure within the department, combining high-quality legal work with increasing leadership responsibility over time.
From day one, you’ll manage a varied Commercial Property caseload while building relationships with clients and colleagues across the firm. During your first year, you’ll become a trusted sounding board for junior lawyers, contribute to mentoring and begin developing the management skills needed to support the department’s long-term growth. As the team continues to expand, you’ll have a genuine opportunity to establish yourself as the natural second-in-command and progress towards Director-level responsibility.

Who we’re looking for
- Commercial Property Solicitor with the ability to manage matters independently
- Strong experience across commercial acquisitions, disposals and landlord & tenant matters
- Excellent client relationship and communication skills
- Commercially minded with an interest in business development
- Experience mentoring or supervising junior colleagues (desirable)
- Real estate finance experience (desirable)
- Ambitious, collaborative and looking for genuine long-term progression
What you’ll be doing
- Managing a varied Commercial Property caseload
- Advising clients on acquisitions, disposals, landlord & tenant matters and property finance
- Building and maintaining long-term client relationships
- Supporting and mentoring junior lawyers where appropriate
- Attending networking and business development events
- Contributing to the continued growth of the department
- Developing leadership capability alongside your fee-earning responsibilities
