Commercial Property Solicitor
- 2 days from home and a genuine 9–5 culture, no long-hours expectation
- Join a growing commercial property team with a clear 5-year plan (and room to progress quickly)
- Walk into work that already exists, no pressure to bring a following
This is a team in build mode, but not from scratch.
There’s already a steady flow of work coming in (to the point they’re turning some away), and the next phase is about adding the right people to support that growth. You’ll join at a stage where you can get involved early, without the pressure of being thrown in at the deep end.
In your first few months, the focus will be on getting comfortable with the caseload and gradually building up your billings at a sensible pace. You’ll be working across a mix of commercial property matters, from straightforward transactions through to some exposure to real estate finance, with support around you but the expectation that you can hold your own.
Over time, the role opens up. The Head of Department has a clear plan for where the team is heading, and this hire is part of that. If you’re someone who wants to progress, there’s space here to grow into something more senior as the team expands.
The culture is refreshingly straightforward. No long hours, no corporate edge, no egos. People do good work, support each other, and go home at a sensible time. It’s the kind of environment where you can build your career without it taking over your life.
