Costs Negotiator
- Work from home four days per week
- Reduced-hour week
- Fantastic benefits package, including private medical
Our client, a market-leading national insurance law firm, is looking a Costs Negotiator to join its teams in Greater Manchester.
You’ll be able to work up to four days a week from home in this super flexible role!
The firm is one of the country’s leading insurance litigation law firms and routinely represents household-name insurer clients. While it has offices across the UK, it is headquartered in the North West – so you’ll be at the centre of the action.
In the role, you’ll pursue the settlement of costs on MOJ and Infant Approval cases, conduct file reviews to formulate an initial costs strategy, provide comprehensive advice to clients, commence early telephone negotiations with the other side and liaise, as required, with insurers throughout the life of the file.
The firm takes a “people first” approach, promoting a healthy work/life balance through a reduced-hours week (35 hours) and flexible/home working, so you’ll be able to fit your work around your personal commitments.
The firm invests in its team members from day one, starting with a structured on-boarding programme and continuing via a structured development and progression plan.
Pay is competitive and its benefits package is as you’d expect of a national firm and includes private medical insurance, critical illness cover, access to a virtual GP and several high street discounts.
The right candidate will have experience in a similar role – either claimant or defendant.
