This is a unique opportunity for a Court of Protection Lawyer or experienced CoP Paralegal/Fee Earner within a nationally recognised Court of Protection practice in Manchester.
You’ll be joining a team where this specialism is highly valued, and where you’ll have the opportunity to progress towards Expert status yourself over time.
This role is ideal for someone seeking high-level specialist work with strong progression opportunities and a highly flexible working pattern, including four days per week from home.
Who we’re looking for
- Experience in Court of Protection work
- Strong legal drafting skills
- Suitable for:
- Experienced CoP paralegals
- Fee earners wanting to focus on pure drafting
- Solicitors seeking more flexibility (e.g., returning after a break)
- Detail-focused, organised and able to work independently
- Interested in long-term development within a specialist CoP team
What you’ll be doing
- Produce high-quality reports for Court of Protection matters
- Manage your own drafting workload independently
- Apply CoP knowledge to ensure accuracy, clarity and compliance
- Work closely with senior Experts within the team
- Potential to broaden into wider Court of Protection matters in future
- Primarily home working, with one office day per week
