Court of Protection Solicitor/Associate

A highly regarded South Manchester firm is looking for a Court of Protection Solicitor to take on an existing caseload and help shape the future of their offering in this area.

This is a brand-new position created to support the continued growth of the private client department and alleviate COP-related work currently handled by the wills and probate team. You’ll step into an established caseload of around 25 deputyships and 15 attorneyships and work closely with senior leadership to develop the firm’s Court of Protection practice further.

Who we’re looking for

• Court of Protection solicitor with 3+ PQE
• Confident managing a COP caseload independently
• Interested in building and growing a team over time
• Collaborative and down-to-earth, keen to contribute to a strong team culture

Salary & benefits

• £45,000–£55,000 depending on experience
• Hybrid working – typically 2–3 days from home
