This is a great opportunity for a Credit Hire & Personal Injury fee earner to join a well-established team in Altrincham, stepping straight into an existing caseload with the trust and autonomy to manage files properly.
The role is suited to someone who enjoys responsibility and wants to run their own files without being micromanaged. You’ll focus heavily on Credit Hire work (including taxi hire claims) with associated PI matters.
There’s genuine scope to develop into higher-value and more complex work over time, within a supportive and experienced team.
Who we’re looking for
- Junior Solicitor or experienced Paralegal with strong Credit Hire exposure
- Hands-on Credit Hire experience, including taxi hire claims
- Claimant PI experience linked to Credit Hire matters
- Comfortable managing around 100 pre-issue files independently
- Strong organisational skills with excellent compliance and diary management
- Confident communicator with insurers and credit hire organisations
- Proactive, reliable and able to work with minimal supervision
What you’ll be doing
- Managing a caseload of predominantly Credit Hire matters with associated PI claims
- Handling a high proportion of taxi credit hire cases
- Assessing liability, quantum and settlement strategy
- Negotiating with insurers and credit hire organisations
- Maintaining accurate file notes, compliance and financial hygiene
- Taking over and progressing an existing live caseload
- Supporting junior colleagues where appropriate as experience grows
Salary & Benefits
- Salary up to £35,000, depending on experience
- Office-based role in Altrincham, close to train and bus stations
