This is a fantastic opportunity for an EL Fee Earner to join a Legal 500 recognised personal injury team at a firm that’s continuing to grow despite wider market challenges.

Who we’re looking for

• At least 1 year PQE, CILEx, or equivalent experience – qualification less important than tenacity and ability
• Proven billing track record of handling a litigated caseload
• Experience managing pre- and post-issue fast-track EL claims
• Strong knowledge of CPR, MOJ protocol and litigation process
• Experience of the portal and running litigated files to trial/disposal
• Familiarity with Proclaim case management system
• Committed, organised and target-driven while maintaining excellent client care

What you’ll be doing

• Manage your own caseload of fast-track EL matters, predominately pre- and post-issue claims
• Handle a mixture of liability admitted and disputed cases
• Ensure compliance with CPR, SRA and court directions
• Maintain efficient, proactive case progression and regular client updates
• Negotiate settlements and achieve the best possible outcomes
• Build and maintain strong relationships with clients and colleagues
