This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced Private Client Solicitor to take on a senior, leadership-style role within a growing team based primarily in Doncaster, with some involvement in Wakefield.
The firm is looking for someone who can step in as a confident and experienced presence within the office, someone capable of running a varied private client caseload independently while also providing guidance and informal supervision to a junior-heavy team.

Who we’re looking for
- Private Client Solicitor with strong experience managing a full caseload
- Experience handling complex estates and trust matters
- Confident working independently and acting as a senior presence in an office
- Strong technical private client knowledge
- Excellent client relationship skills
- Organised, self-sufficient and comfortable operating autonomously
- Ability to mentor or support junior lawyers (Desired)
- STEP qualified or working towards STEP (Desired)
What you’ll be doing
- Managing a broad private client caseload
- Advising clients on complex estate matters
- Drafting and administering trusts
- Supporting and mentoring junior members of the team
- Building strong relationships with clients and professional contacts
- Working collaboratively across the Doncaster and Wakefield offices
Within your first 6 months, you’ll take ownership of a busy caseload and establish yourself as the senior presence in the Doncaster office. By 12 months, you’ll be fully embedded in the team and helping develop junior lawyers. Longer term, you’ll play a key role in growing the private client offering across both locations.
