Who we’re looking for
- Qualified Family Solicitor – 4 to 20+ years PQE
- Experience in divorce and financial remedy work
- Exposure to private children matter
- Advocacy experience
- Comfortable working with HNW and complex cases
- Keen to support junior lawyers and engage in business development (Desirable)
- Friendly, empathetic, and a team player
What you’ll be doing
- Manage your own caseload of family matters including divorce, finances, children, and cohabitation issues
- Deliver clear, compassionate legal advice to clients
- Represent clients in family proceedings and attend court where needed
- Help mentor and guide junior colleagues
- Contribute to business development and help strengthen the team’s presence in York
- Initially office-based, then hybrid working with 2 days from home once settled
Salary & Benefits
- £45,000 – £60,000, depending on experience and level
