  • Excellent culture and good quality, interesting work

An award-winning law firm is looking for a Family Solicitor with three to five years PQE to join its close-knit team in York.

The Head of Family is an award-winning family expert, and you’ll work closely with them as you develop your career and build your profile within family law.

In addition, you’ll get a competitive starting salary and the opportunity to work from home two days per week. You will also benefit from enhanced annual leave and your birthday off, a comprehensive healthcare plan and subsidised parking.

In the role, you’ll handle a mixed caseload of finance and divorce matters and will be actively involved in helping to grow the profile of the team through business development. You’ll also have the opportunity to deal with some private children matters, although the focus will be on matrimonial work.

You’ll join a team consisting of a partner, two solicitors, a trainee, two paralegals and secretaries, who describe their employer as “a forward-thinking, modern firm” and “the best place they have ever worked”, with a “supportive management team.”

The firm is open to considering solicitors who would like to work part-time over four days.
