This is an excellent opportunity to join a Legal 500-recognised family law team in Leeds. The team is known for its strong reputation, high client care standards and genuinely supportive culture. As the team continues to grow, this hire will help meet increasing demand and contribute to the next phase of the department’s development.
Who we’re looking for
- 2–4 PQE Family Solicitor or Legal Executive
- Experience running own caseload of divorce, finance and private children matters
- Comfortable with advocacy
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively
- Friendly, supportive, and resilient personality
- STEP qualification or family panel membership (Desired)
- Part-time (3 days) or full-time considered
- Not seeking someone in a management-focused role, this is a fee-earning opportunity (E)
What you’ll be doing
- Running your own caseload of private family matters, primarily divorce, finance, and private children
- Handling new instructions and building your caseload over time (there is already plenty of work available)
- Attending court and handling your own advocacy
- Supporting the team’s growth through business development and client relationship-building
- Working closely with colleagues and supporting paralegals and secretaries as needed
Salary & Benefits
- £32,000–£50,000 depending on experience
- Progression pathway to Senior Solicitor, team is actively growing and promoting from within
- 2 days per week from home for full-time employees
- Part-time option (3 days per week) available
- Based at a well-appointed office in Colton, Leeds with free parking
