Family Solicitor – Manchester
This multi-office family boutique is looking for a family solicitor with at least two years experience to support its vision to become the leading firm for private matrimonial law in the country.

Established in 2011, this firm is headquartered in Leeds and has quickly grown to have offices in the bustling legal hubs of London and Manchester. The firm has further national expansion plans in place for 2023 and is looking for talented lawyers to benefit from its next exciting phase of growth.

This is a great firm for lawyers looking for something less traditional and craving plenty of independence to grow and develop into well-rounded, commercially robust professionals.

If you find you often get frustrated with red tape, long and boring processes, and a management team that is slow to change and adapt – and are looking for a faster-paced, more dynamic way of working – you’ll find this firm thoroughly refreshing.

Our client has embraced a modern way of working, with all the latest technological advancements to keep any administration and compliance tasks required to an absolute minimum, leaving its lawyers to do what they do best – provide high-quality legal advice to a growing client base of HNW individuals.

This approach has done away with the need for secretarial staff, and you’ll have complete autonomy and flexibility to run your files in a high-tech, paperless environment that truly supports hybrid working. As a result, everyone is empowered to work seamlessly from home four days a week, attending the office one day a week only to meet with the team.

That’s not to say you won’t be supported here. The firm employs a centralised pool of paralegals and junior solicitors, who assist on complex cases. Juniors will always have the support of senior solicitors and will find they develop their technical and commercial skills very quickly at this firm, gaining a career advantage over their peers.

You’ll be encouraged to be hands-on with clients, maintaining a fantastic client experience from start to finish. As the majority of the firm’s growing caseload is generated via inbound enquiries, there will be no expectation to network or take part in business development activities. All that will be required of you is a great phone manner and the ability to hone in on what a client truly needs.

You’ll be rewarded generously for your individual performance, with an attractive bonus scheme and a clear plan to promotion. This firm’s model necessitates that its team members are fantastic all-rounders, which means it invests heavily in people development. As a result, it isn’t unusual to find a 3-PQE lawyer with an Associate title here.

The team enjoys a fantastic Legal 500 ranking, sitting alongside several much larger national firms, and is committed to supporting its lawyers to get recognised as Leading Individuals.

The recruitment process with this firm is very informal. You won’t so much as have an interview as a series of informal coffees – first with the Managing Partner, and then followed by other solicitors from the team – to see if you are a good fit for each other. So, if this sounds like the type of firm you’d flourish at, get in touch with us today.
