Are you an experienced Family Solicitor looking to take the next step in your career?
You’ll join a growing family law department, working closely with the Head of Department to deliver an exceptional service to clients across Cheshire. This is a fantastic opportunity to take ownership of a varied caseload and play a key role in expanding the firm’s family law offering, with the potential to progress to Associate Director or Joint Head of Department as the team grows.
You’ll be encouraged to build your own network, represent the firm at events, and establish yourself as a recognised name in the local market, all within a friendly, down-to-earth team that values collaboration and individuality.
Who we’re looking for
- 5+ years’ PQE with strong experience across private family law
- Confident handling divorce, finance, and HNW matters
- Skilled in client care and relationship management
- Experience with BD, networking, and marketing
- Familiarity with Proclaim CMS (Desired)
- Open, confident communicator who enjoys being client-facing
- Friendly and resilient team player – approachable but assertive when needed
What you’ll be doing
- Manage your own caseload of privately funded family matters
- Handle divorce, financial remedy, children, surrogacy, and pre/post-nuptial agreements
- Support a paralegal and secretary where appropriate
- Represent clients in person and build long-term relationships
- Engage in business development and local marketing initiatives
- Help grow the department and promote the firm’s reputation
Salary & Benefits
- Salary up to £60,000, dependent on experience
- Bonus scheme
- 31 days’ holiday (including bank holidays), rising to 33 with service
