This is a fantastic opportunity for a Newly Qualified Clinical Negligence Solicitor at the early stages of their career to join a growing, supportive team in Manchester. You’ll begin by managing a small caseload appropriate to your experience, while gaining invaluable hands-on exposure assisting a partner on major, high-value claims.

This is an excellent opportunity to work on life-changing cases involving both NHS and private providers, while building meaningful, long-term relationships with clients.
With a friendly, sociable team, excellent training, and a culture centred around empathy, you’ll be supported to develop both technically and personally.

Who we’re looking for

  • Newly Qualified
  • Experience in claimant clinical negligence
  • Exposure to misdiagnosis, surgical claims, birth/brain injury or fatality cases (desired)
  • Experience managing a caseload, even if small (desired)
  • Strong client care and communication skills
  • Able to work autonomously with appropriate supervision
  • Empathetic, supportive, authentic and client-focused
  • Interest in developing BD skills (desired)

What you’ll be doing

  • Manage a small claimant clinical negligence caseload
  • Assist a Partner on high-value and catastrophic cases
  • Handle claims involving brain injuries, birth injuries, delays/misdiagnosis surgical errors and incorrect treatment
  • Support on cases involving minors and fatality matters
  • Deliver excellent, empathetic client care
  • Take part in business development and networking activity
  • Contribute to a positive, sociable team environment
