This is a fantastic opportunity for a Newly Qualified Solicitor with a genuine interest in Court of Protection work to develop their career in a forward-thinking, people-focused firm.

In this role, you’ll gain hands-on experience with a complex and varied Court of Protection caseload under the supervision of the Director and Head of Court of Protection. You’ll work with clients who have high-value damages awards and complex needs, alongside families, medical professionals, and other legal experts, and enjoy a strong support network, even when working remotely.
Who we’re looking for
- Newly Qualified Solicitor with a background or training in Private Client or Court of Protection work
- Keen interest in pursuing a long-term Court of Protection specialism
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Strong organisational and time management skills
- Compassionate and confident in supporting vulnerable clients and their families
What you’ll be doing
- Manage a caseload of deputyship matters, including clients with high-value personal injury awards
- Liaise with families, deputies and multidisciplinary teams
- Draft legal documents including court applications, letters and contracts
- Progress best interest decisions in line with the Mental Capacity Act
- Attend client meetings, hearings and case conferences
- Instruct Counsel and external experts as needed
- Supervise and delegate tasks to Court of Protection administrators and paralegals where appropriate
- Represent clients at hearings or tribunals where required
