This is a fantastic opportunity for a Newly Qualified Solicitor to join a respected Private Client team in Shrewsbury.

You’ll be working closely with experienced STEP-qualified lawyers, gaining exposure to high-value, complex work and benefiting from exceptional training and mentoring.

With a strong focus on upskilling, you’ll be supported to complete your STEP qualification and follow a clear path of progression, with the potential to move up quickly in line with your development.

Who we’re looking for

• NQ Solicitor with strong academics and solid training contract background
• Attention to detail with the resilience to handle exacting client standards
• Willingness to take feedback on board and learn from senior colleagues
• Knowledge of tax and trust administration

What you’ll be doing

• Work with high-net-worth and agricultural clients on bespoke matters
• Handle wills, probate, trusts, tax planning, and inheritance work
• Collaborate with colleagues in the Shrewsbury and Chester teams
• Manage your own caseload as your confidence grows
• Consistently meet reasonable billing targets

Salary & Benefits

• Salary: Competitive, circa £40k depending on experience
• Holiday: 26 days rising to 35 with service, plus option to buy and sell days
