Personal Injury Fee Earner

Apply now
  • Run a mixed EL/PL & RTA caseload from day one, no need to build your own work
  • Clear, structured progression with real promotion opportunities each year
  • Hybrid working (2 days from home) once settled, plus early Friday finishes

You’ll be stepping into a team that already delivers consistently strong results and expects the same from the people joining it.

From the outset, you’ll take ownership of a mixed caseload of RTA and EL/PL matters. The work is already there, the systems are in place, and the expectation is that you can run files confidently from instruction through to settlement.

The first few months are about getting up to speed with internal processes and embedding yourself within the team. After that, you’ll be trusted to manage your files independently, contribute to team performance, and, if you’re keen, start getting involved in mentoring or raising your profile externally.

Longer term, progression is structured rather than vague. There’s a clear promotions process and a track record of people moving forward based on performance, not time served. If you’re someone who wants to develop quickly and be recognised for it, that pathway is there.

The environment strikes a balance, high standards, but not overly rigid. There’s a strong focus on client care, a commercial mindset, and a team that takes the work seriously without losing personality. You’re expected to perform, but you’re supported to do it properly.

Who we’re looking for

  • 1–4 years’ experience running a personal injury caseload independently
  • Strong experience with RTA and EL/PL claims
  • Confident managing files from inception through to settlement
  • Good working knowledge of personal injury law and procedure
  • Strong analytical and research skills
  • Organised, proactive and able to manage competing priorities
  • Strong communication skills with a client-focused approach

What you’ll be doing

  • Managing a mixed caseload of RTA and EL/PL fast-track claims
  • Progressing files from instruction through to settlement
  • Handling case strategy, legal analysis and negotiation
  • Managing financial aspects of cases and file administration
  • Keeping up to date with legal and procedural developments
  • Supporting junior fee earners where appropriate
  • Contributing to business development and raising your professional profile

Salary & Benefits

  • Highly competitive salary
  • Hybrid working, up to 2 days from home once established
  • Clear, structured annual promotions process
  • Early finish one Friday per month
  • 25+ days annual leave (increasing with service)
  • Private medical insurance
  • SMART pension scheme
  • Two paid charity days per year
  • Strong job security within a growing, high-performing team
