This is an excellent opportunity for a Personal Injury Fee Earner to join a highly regarded personal injury team in Manchester.

You’ll handle a caseload of Employer’s Liability claims within a firm recognised by the Legal 500 for both Personal Injury and Clinical Negligence work. The role offers exposure to high-quality cases alongside strong supervision, structured training and clear progression opportunities.

Who we’re looking for

• Solicitor, CILEX, or experienced fee earner with 1+ years’ experience in personal injury
• Proven experience managing a litigated EL caseload
• Strong knowledge of Employer’s Liability claims
• Experience handling both pre-issue and post-issue fast-track cases
• Knowledge of the Claims Portal and Civil Procedure Rules
• Experience progressing files through litigation to trial or settlement
• Determined, tenacious approach to achieving the best outcomes for clients
• Familiarity with Proclaim case management system (Desired)

What you’ll be doing

• Managing your own caseload of Employer’s Liability claims, primarily fast-track matters
• Handling cases from initial instruction through to settlement or trial
• Progressing files through pre-issue and post-issue litigation stages
• Using the Claims Portal where appropriate
• Drafting legal documents and preparing cases for court
• Negotiating with defendants and third parties
• Delivering high standards of client care and communication throughout the claims process
