Are you an experienced Personal Injury Fee Earner looking for a role that combines your own caseload with a genuine opportunity to develop into higher-value work?

This growing Manchester practice is looking for a Personal Injury Fee Earner to join its established team. The role has been newly created following continued growth and the firm’s successful appointment to a new contract.

You’ll manage around 130 Personal Injury matters, primarily Employers’ Liability, Public Liability and Occupiers’ Liability claims, alongside a smaller number of RTA cases. You’ll take responsibility for matters from inception through to settlement or trial, handling both litigated and non-litigated work.

You’ll join an experienced, close-knit team with a strong emphasis on client care and a supportive working environment. You’ll also work alongside senior lawyers with significant Personal Injury expertise, including experience across EL, PL and serious RTA claims.

Who we’re looking for

• At least 2 years’ experience managing your own Personal Injury caseload (E)
• Strong EL, PL and OL experience (E)
• Ability to run claims from inception to settlement or trial (E)
• Knowledge of RTA claims (E)
• Excellent client care and communication skills (E)
• Proactive, organised and detail-focused approach (E)
• Solicitor or CILEX qualification (E)
• Ideally 1–3 years’ PQE (D)
• Litigated file experience (D)
• Proclaim experience (D)

What you’ll be doing

• Managing around 130 Personal Injury files
• Handling EL, PL, OL and some RTA claims
• Running matters from inception to conclusion
• Investigating liability and quantum
• Reviewing medical evidence
• Preparing schedules of loss
• Progressing litigated and non-litigated claims
• Negotiating settlements
• Liaising with experts, insurers and third parties
• Providing empathetic client care

Salary & Benefits
