  • Manage a high-quality EL/PL caseload with a steady pipeline of work
  • Hybrid working (2–3 days from home) and free on-site parking
  • Join a friendly, independent claimant firm with strong team culture

This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced Personal Injury Solicitor to join a well-established claimant team based just outside Knutsford.

You’ll handle a varied caseload with a strong emphasis on Employer’s Liability and Public Liability claims, supported by a consistent flow of work. The role offers autonomy to manage files independently while being part of a collaborative and supportive team environment.

The firm has built a strong reputation for high-quality claimant work and remains proudly independent, offering a refreshing alternative to large corporate personal injury practices.

Who we’re looking for

  • Solicitor or CILEX with 5+ years’ experience in claimant personal injury
  • Proven experience managing a caseload of 100–125 files
  • Strong expertise in Employer’s Liability and Public Liability claims
  • Experience handling RTA and Occupiers’ Liability matters
  • Strong litigation and negotiation skills
  • Excellent organisational ability and client communication
  • Collaborative, down-to-earth team player
  • Ambitious and motivated with a long-term career outlook (Desired)
  • Exposure to multi-track or higher-value claims (Desired)

What you’ll be doing

  • Managing a caseload of approximately 100–125 personal injury files, primarily EL/PL claims
  • Progressing cases from initial instruction through to settlement
  • Delivering high standards of client care and communication throughout the claims process
  • Meeting billing and case progression targets
  • Working closely with colleagues across the team to ensure smooth case management

Within your first six months, you’ll take ownership of your caseload and integrate into the team. By 12 months, you’ll be consistently meeting billing targets and contributing to team performance. Longer term, you’ll become a valued member of the department and play an important role in maintaining the firm’s strong reputation for claimant work.

Salary & Benefits

  • Competitive salary depending on experience
  • Performance bonus for exceeding targets
  • Hybrid working (2 days from home)
  • Flexible working arrangements tailored to individual needs
  • Free on-site parking
  • Strong job security within a well-established claimant practice
  • Friendly and sociable team culture

The firm offers a supportive environment where lawyers are trusted to do their work well while maintaining a healthy work-life balance. With a steady stream of high-quality cases and a collaborative culture, it’s a great place to build a long-term career in claimant personal injury.
