Serious Injury Solicitor
- Handle a low-volume caseload of serious and catastrophic injury claims, giving you the time to deliver genuinely exceptional client care
- £45,000–£60,000 plus quarterly profit share, flexible hours and just one day per week in the office
- Develop your expertise across brain, spinal, amputation and other life-changing injury claims with a clear route to Associate and beyond
If you’re a Personal Injury Solicitor who wants to spend more time helping clients and less time juggling an unmanageable caseload, this opportunity offers a very different way of working.
You’ll join a nationally recognised Serious Injury team where the focus goes beyond securing compensation. Lawyers work closely with rehabilitation specialists and other professionals to provide wraparound support, helping clients and their families rebuild their lives following life-changing injuries.
Initially, you’ll manage lower to moderate-value serious injury matters while assisting experienced colleagues on complex catastrophic claims. As your expertise develops, you’ll progress towards independently handling increasingly high-value cases involving traumatic brain injuries, spinal cord injuries, amputations, complex orthopaedic trauma and fatal accidents.
With a low-volume caseload, 35-hour working week, flexible hours and predominantly home working, you’ll have the space to focus on quality rather than volume. The firm also takes an ethical approach to its client relationships, with clients not charged success fees or shortfalls from their compensation.
Who we’re looking for
- Solicitor with approximately 1–5 years’ PQE
- Experience managing your own Personal Injury or Serious Injury caseload
- Strong grounding in claimant Personal Injury law
- Ability to support senior lawyers on complex, higher-value matters
- Excellent organisation and case progression skills
- Empathetic, clear and confident client communication
- Collaborative approach and willingness to work with multidisciplinary teams
- Experience involving traumatic brain or spinal cord injuries, amputations, complex orthopaedic trauma, fatal accidents or serious RTAs (Desired)
What you’ll be doing
- Managing your own low-volume caseload of Serious Injury claims
- Taking increasing ownership of medium and higher-value matters as your experience develops
- Supporting Partners and senior lawyers on complex catastrophic injury claims
- Working on cases involving brain injuries, spinal injuries, amputations and serious orthopaedic trauma
- Handling fatal accident and serious road traffic collision claims
- Working alongside rehabilitation coordinators and clinical specialists to support clients beyond their legal claim
- Progressing cases proactively while maintaining exceptional standards of client care
- Contributing to a collaborative team focused on achieving the best long-term outcomes for injured people and their families
Salary & Benefits
- Quarterly profit share
- 35-hour working week
- Flexible working hours
- Hybrid working with typically just one day per week in the Warwick office
- Low-volume caseload focused on quality rather than volume

- Tier 2 Legal 500 recognised Serious Injury practice
- Nationally recognised team handling complex, high-value catastrophic injury matters
- Supportive, collaborative and client-first culture
This is an excellent opportunity for a Serious Injury Solicitor who wants challenging, meaningful work without sacrificing their work-life balance – with the time, support and specialist resources to make a genuine difference to clients following life-changing injuries.
